| I keep my pigeons in this loft. The nearest loft on the right is my stock loft housing just two of our best ever retired race cocks. The furthermost loft is my racing loft which has three compartments housing my twenty pairs of racers, and a fourth compartment on the left housing young birds I breed each year. Both cocks and hens are raced using the roundabout system in sprint, middle and long distance races. All my birds regularly race from Pozzallo (105 km) Siracusa (155 km), Reggio (270 km), Catanzaro/Santa Eufemia (390 km), Metaponto (570 km), Bari (600 km), and Manfredonia (610 km) to Malta in the open sea. |
